The Patriots’ offensive line situation: One of the major question marks facing the Patriots heading into training camp was the state of the offensive line.
Several weeks into camp, it appears some of those questions remain. To address this, the Patriots are expected to sign offensive lineman Kellen Diesch, according to ESPN reporter Mike Reiss. This comes a day after the initial report emerged from Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 Houston that New England was hosting Diesch for a workout.
The Patriots are planning to address OL depth, as they are bringing in Kellen Diesch and expected to sign him, per sources.

Diesch (6-7, 300) played at Texas A&M/Arizona State.
Entered NFL as an undrafted free agent with Dolphins in 2022. Time with Bears, Steelers, Browns.
Diesch, 26, was an undrafted free agent with the Dolphins in 2022. He’s also been a member of the Bears and Steelers practice squads. In 2024, he was claimed off waivers by the Browns, but was cut two days later due to a failed physical.
He played Texas A&M and Arizona State in college, and was named second-team All-Pac-12 Conference as a senior. At 6-foot-7 (300 pounds), he could be a higher-upside project for the team. Depending on circumstances, Diesch could potentially compete for a spot on the roster in New England as first year head coach Jerod Mayo looks to rebuild the team’s offense.
